House destruction on worst hit districts, Nepal Earthquake 2015

The devastating Earthquakes that hit Nepal on April 25^th and May 12^th left thousands of people dead and severe destruction on houses and physical infrastructures.

The major devastation on houses occurred in districts; Sindhupalchowk, Dolakha, Nuwakot and Gorkha. These four districts are found to have higher number of poorly built houses whereas Kathmandu and Lalitpur seemingly have higher number of strongly built  houses. A big number of house destruction are seen in Sindhupalchowk, Dolakha, Nuwakot and Gorkha.
